Every individual working with older adults must have the tools and resources for understanding suicide risk among older adults and gain confidence in having that awkward conversation about suicide. In this workshop, you’ll learn risk factors for suicide among older adults, protective factors, tools for assessing suicide risk, and how to have a conversation with older adults about their mental health and mental health care in ways that draw them in rather than push them away.
